Excluding Unmatched Observations

Add a data set option to the data set Empinfo.Bonuses to create and name a variable that indicates whether the data set contributed data to the current observation. Specify InBonus as the name of the variable. (Because the variable is temporary, you can specify the variable name in any case.)

data mergdata.emppay; merge reps(rename=(office=officeno)) empinfo.sales empinfo.bonuses ; by id; run;
