Inheriting Style Attributes

Applying Styles to Specific Cell Values

Remember that revenue values are important in your table, so make them stand out by applying the same style that you used for the Dest class levels and Revenue headings.

To extend the style of the Revenue headings across the Revenue values,

insert an asterisk (*) after Revenue in the TABLE statement.
add STYLE=<parent>. Enclose the STYLE= option in curly { } or square [ ] braces.

table dest*(boarded transferred deplaned revenue*{style=<parent>}), min max mean sum / box={style={background=cxCCEEDD}};

Your program and its output look as follows. Notice that all style attributes are inherited whenever you use STYLE=<parent>. In addition to background colors, font size and color are inherited.
