Creating Plots
Viewing and Storing Plots

As you create plots, you might want to manage them. For example, you can
  • view individual graphs by scrolling in the GRAPH window
  • view individual graphs by selecting them in the Results window
  • specify a temporary or permanent output catalog to store your graphs
  • view and manage entries stored in catalogs.

Note: If you took the lesson Creating Bar and Pie Charts, you may want to skip this topic and go on to Additional Features.

Scrolling in the GRAPH Window

In this lesson, you have viewed plots in the GRAPH window. To scroll through all the graphs created in a SAS session, you can

  • use function keys or scroll bars in the GRAPH window
  • select View menu items from the GRAPH window, as shown below:

Viewing Graphs Using the Results Window

In the lesson Working in the SAS Environment, you learned how to view, save, print, and delete individual items of output using the Results window. To view any graph, expand the folders in the Results window and double-click the item for the graph (such as Plot of Therapy * Month below).
