Editing and Debugging SAS Programs
Editing SAS Programs

Program Editor Features

The Program Editor window allows you to enter and edit programs just as you would with a word processing program. You can also use text editor commands and block text editor commands to insert, delete, move, and copy lines within the Program Editor window.

Line Numbers

In some operating environments, line numbers appear in the Program Editor by default. In other systems, the use of line numbers is optional. Activating line numbers may make it easier for you to edit your program regardless of your operating environment.
